Drought squeezes Piedmont's parades
We're all taking shorter showers and turning the tap off when we brush our teeth, right? It ain't enough, folks. Now Piedmont Park, the cultural epicenter of summertime in Atlanta, is likely to shut the tap on major events in order to protect the bonedry turf. The Pride Festival, Dogwood Festival and the Jazz Festival? All on the ropes.
