Atlanta-based Porsche Cars of North America broke a sales record last year even as real estate agents were jumping off the Titanic and retailers were singing the blues. (Link here.) My brother (first-author of article here) has been drooling over the dang things since he was a teenager. I don't see the appeal myself (my ride here), but, hey, we can notch Porsche's popularity up as another Atlanta success story. Meanwhile, Detroit fumes (link here).
