Grady's 'indigent mission' at stake

Is the transfer of the nearly 1,000-bed Grady Hospital to a non-profit management company a mistake? Sen. Vincent Fort (link here) calls assurances that Grady will continue current levels of care for the poor and indigent "disingenious." Grady is a mess, and, some would say, a taxpayer's worst nightmare. But the mind boggles at where the city would be without it.
